Our WUSHWUSH coffee hails from a secluded area deep in the Kaffa region, 60 kilometers from the city of Bonga. Traditionally, the local farmers in this region grew teas, but due to the lower environmental impact of coffee cultivation, an increasing number are transitioning to coffee production.

The WushWush coffee variety gained fame in Colombia in the early 2000s when it was brought from the Ethiopian WushWush region. This transfer occurred due to its exceptional flavors, and despite lower plant yields, WushWush proves resistant to several coffee diseases
